Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 22, 2026
These Terms of Sale and Service (the “Terms”) are a contract between you and ROBOPOET TECHNOLOGY HONGKONG LIMITED, operating the Store under the name fuzozo global and offering products under the Fuzozo brand (“fuzozo global,” “Fuzozo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to:
- The fuzozo global website and online store on which these Terms are posted (the “Store”);
- Fuzozo-branded products, including Fuzozo AI companion devices and accessories (the “Products”);
- The Fuzozo mobile application, device software, cloud-based AI features, customer support, memberships, plans, digital accessories and related features (together with the Store and Products, the “Services”).
Our Store is hosted by Shopify. Some Products or features may also be subject to product instructions, plan descriptions, promotion terms or additional terms presented to you before purchase or activation. Those additional terms form part of your agreement with us. If they conflict with these Terms, the more specific terms apply to that Product or feature.
Please read these Terms carefully. By placing an order, creating an account, activating a Product or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy [INSERT PRIVACY POLICY URL]. If you do not agree, do not order, activate or use the Services.
Important Consumer Notice: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under the laws of the country or state where you live, including rights relating to cancellation, delivery, product conformity, repairs, replacements, refunds, digital content and software updates. Those rights apply in addition to these Terms.
1. Eligibility, Children and Accounts
1.1 Purchases and Legal Capacity
You must be at least the age of legal majority where you live and have legal capacity to place an order. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation; however, Products sold through the consumer Store are intended for personal or household use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
1.2 Connected Features and Minors
The connected, account-based and cloud AI features are not intended for children under 13 unless we expressly offer a region-specific child experience with the parental notice and consent process required by applicable law.
If you are at least 13 but have not reached the age at which you may independently consent to these Terms or to the processing of your personal data where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use. In some countries, parental consent may be required until age 16.
If you are a parent or guardian who permits a minor to use a Product or the Services, you are responsible for supervising that use, configuring available privacy and safety controls, and explaining that Fuzozo is an AI system rather than a person. Do not permit a child under 13 to use connected features unless Fuzozo has expressly made an appropriate child experience available in your region and you have completed the required parental consent process.
1.3 Your Account
You must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at shop@fuzozo.net if you believe your account or Product has been accessed without permission.
You may not sell, rent, transfer or share your account. Before giving or selling a Product to another person, you must unlink it from your account and follow our instructions to reset the Product and remove locally stored information. Plan entitlements, digital accessories and account history may not transfer with the Product unless we expressly say otherwise.
1.4 Other People Near the Product
Depending on the features you activate, a Product may receive voice, text, image, sensor, device or interaction information and transmit some of that information for cloud processing. You must not submit another person’s information without permission. You are responsible for informing household members, guests and other people who may interact with the Product that it uses AI and may process their interactions as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. The Products and Connected Services
2.1 Product Descriptions
We take reasonable care to describe and display Products accurately. A Product’s colour or appearance may vary slightly because of screen settings, photography, materials or normal manufacturing variation. Such minor variation does not affect your rights if a Product does not conform to its description or to applicable law.
Product specifications, compatibility, included accessories, plan benefits and feature availability are stated on the relevant product page or at checkout. We may limit quantities, decline sales to resellers, or stop offering a Product in a location where doing so is lawful.
2.2 Technical Requirements
Some features require a compatible mobile device, the Fuzozo app, a Fuzozo account, Bluetooth or another local connection, and a reliable internet connection. You are responsible for compatible third-party equipment and any carrier or data charges. Features may differ by Product model, language, age setting, plan and country.
2.3 Safety and Care
Use the Product only as described in its packaging, safety information, user manual and in-app notices. Keep all safety labels and warnings. Do not open, modify, puncture, crush, burn, immerse, misuse or improperly charge the Product or its battery. Use compatible charging equipment and stop using a Product that is damaged, unusually hot, swollen, leaking, emitting an unusual smell or subject to a safety notice.
A Product is not a safety device, monitoring device, childcare substitute or emergency communication device. Do not rely on it to protect a person, supervise a child, detect hazards or contact emergency services. If we issue a safety notice, software update, repair programme, withdrawal or recall, follow the instructions promptly and stop using the Product where directed.
3. AI Interaction and Generated Responses
3.1 You Are Interacting with AI
Fuzozo’s conversations, personality behaviours, summaries, memories, expressions, recommendations and other responses may be generated or selected by artificial intelligence (“AI Output”). You are interacting with a machine, not a human being. A Product’s character, emotional language or apparent empathy does not mean that it is conscious, alive, a licensed professional or capable of human judgment.
3.2 Limitations of AI Output
AI Output is generated probabilistically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, unexpected or inappropriate. It may not reflect Fuzozo’s views. You must use your own judgment and should independently verify information before acting on it.
The Services do not provide medical, mental-health, therapeutic, legal, financial, educational, safety or other professional advice. They are not a crisis service. Do not use or rely on AI Output to diagnose or treat a condition, make a high-impact decision, supervise a child or respond to an emergency. If you or someone else may be in danger or needs urgent help, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional.
3.3 Supervision and Sensitive Topics
Adults should supervise minors’ use of conversational features. Do not ask Fuzozo to provide content that would be unsafe or unsuitable for the user. We may use safety filters, restrict certain topics, interrupt an interaction, provide safety messaging or direct a user to external resources. These measures cannot identify or prevent every harmful response and do not replace appropriate adult supervision.
3.4 Personality, Memory and Continuity
Features such as personality growth, relationship progress, diaries, memories and customisation are part of a digital experience. They may change as you interact with the Product or as we update the Services. Subject to applicable law and the commitments made when you purchased a paid feature, we do not promise that a particular personality, response style, memory, level, history or AI Output will be permanent or reproducible. Account deletion, device reset, inactivity, technical failure or a service change may delete or alter some information. Available export or deletion rights are described in our Privacy Policy or in-app controls.
4. Your Inputs and Content
4.1 Your Content
“User Content” means information or material that you or someone using your Product provides through the Services, such as voice, text, prompts, images, profile information, names, preferences, customisations, reviews and feedback. As between you and Fuzozo, you retain any rights you have in your User Content.
4.2 Permission Needed to Operate the Services
You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, transmit, process, format and otherwise use User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, personalise, maintain, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Services, comply with law, and exercise our rights under these Terms. Our use of personal data, including any use for model or service improvement, is limited by our Privacy Policy, applicable law and the consent or choice mechanisms made available to you. This licence ends when the relevant User Content is deleted from our systems, except to the extent retention is required by law, necessary for security or dispute resolution, or continues temporarily in backups.
4.3 Your Responsibilities
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide User Content and allow the uses described above. You must not submit User Content that:
- Violates law or another person’s privacy, publicity, confidentiality, intellectual-property or other rights;
- Contains sexual exploitation of minors, non-consensual intimate material, unlawful threats or instructions to cause harm;
- Impersonates another person or deceptively presents AI-generated material as authentic;
- Contains malicious code or is intended to disrupt, test or bypass safety or security controls; or
- Includes highly sensitive information that is not reasonably needed for your use of the Services.
We may block, remove or restrict User Content where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the Services, or enforce these Terms. We will act proportionately and provide notice where reasonably practicable and lawful.
5. Plans, Subscriptions and Digital Items
5.1 Plan Features and Limits
The Services may include free and paid plans. The price, term, included AI interaction time, usage limits, features, renewal status and other material conditions of a plan will be displayed before you purchase or activate it. Usage allowances expire or reset as stated in the plan description and do not roll over unless we expressly say they do.
5.2 Renewal and Cancellation
A plan will not renew automatically unless the purchase screen clearly states that it is an auto-renewing subscription and you expressly agree to recurring charges. If a plan auto-renews, we will tell you the recurring price, billing frequency, trial or promotional period, how to cancel and when cancellation takes effect before you subscribe. You authorise us or the identified app store/payment provider to charge the applicable amount at each renewal until you cancel.
You may cancel an auto-renewing plan through the account or app-store controls identified at purchase. Cancellation stops future renewals but ordinarily does not end access for the period already paid, unless applicable law or the specific plan terms provide otherwise. Refund rights are described in Section 9 and in our Refund and Returns Policy [INSERT REFUND POLICY URL].
We may change a subscription price for a future renewal by giving reasonable advance notice. The new price will not apply before the next renewal and you may cancel before it takes effect.
5.3 App-Store Purchases
If you buy through Apple, Google or another app store, that provider may process payment and apply its billing, cancellation and refund procedures. These Terms still govern your use of the Services, but the provider’s terms govern its payment platform.
5.4 Digital Accessories and Entitlements
Digital outfits, accessories, personality items, badges, points and similar entitlements are licensed, not sold, for personal use within the Services. They have no cash value, may not be transferred or traded outside authorised features, and may depend on an active account or compatible Product. This section does not limit mandatory rights you may have in paid digital content or services.
6. Orders and Contract Formation
An order is your offer to buy. After you submit an order, we may send an acknowledgement that we received it; that acknowledgement is not necessarily acceptance. A sales contract is formed when we send an order-confirmation or dispatch-confirmation email that expressly accepts the order, or when we dispatch the Product, whichever occurs first.
We may reject or cancel an order before acceptance for a legitimate reason, including unavailability, a material pricing or description error, suspected fraud, payment failure, quantity limits, sanctions or export restrictions, or inability to deliver to the address provided. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid.
Please review your order before submitting it. Contact us promptly if you wish to change or cancel it. Our ability to stop fulfilment does not limit any statutory cancellation right you have after the contract is formed.
Products from the consumer Store are for personal or household use, not unauthorised commercial resale or export.
7. Prices, Taxes and Payment
The price and currency shown at checkout apply to your order. Prices include applicable sales tax, VAT or similar indirect tax where the law requires it to be included. Shipping, handling, duties, import charges and other amounts not included in the displayed product price will be disclosed before you place the order where required by law.
The checkout page or Shipping Policy will state whether we or you are responsible for import formalities, duties and taxes. You must not be asked to pay a charge that we were legally required to disclose but failed to disclose before purchase.
You must provide accurate billing information and be authorised to use the selected payment method. We may use third-party payment processors. Promotions are subject to any specific rules presented with the promotion. If those rules conflict with these Terms, the promotion rules apply to the promotion.
8. Shipping, Delivery, Title and Risk
Available destinations, delivery estimates, shipping charges and restrictions are described at checkout and in our Shipping Policy [INSERT SHIPPING POLICY URL]. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed date. We will deliver within the agreed period and in any event within the period required by applicable law.
Please provide a complete and accurate address and cooperate with reasonable delivery or customs requirements. If delivery fails because of information you provided or because you unreasonably fail to receive the shipment, we may charge reasonable, disclosed redelivery or storage costs where permitted by law.
For consumer purchases, risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a third party you designate other than the carrier, physically receives the Product, except where you independently appoint a carrier that we did not offer or where mandatory law provides otherwise. Legal title passes when we receive full payment and the Product is delivered, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
9. Cancellations, Returns, Refunds and Faulty Products
9.1 Our Policy and Your Statutory Rights
Returns and exchanges are handled under our Refund and Returns Policy [INSERT REFUND POLICY URL]. That policy does not replace or reduce mandatory rights for faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming goods, digital content or services.
9.2 EEA and UK Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online contract without giving a reason:
- For goods, within 14 days after the day you or a person you nominate (other than the carrier) receives the goods; and
- For services or digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, within 14 days after the contract is formed.
To exercise this right, send us an unambiguous statement before the deadline. You may use the model withdrawal form in Annex A, but you are not required to do so. Detailed return instructions and the return address appear in our Refund and Returns Policy. Do not send a Product to our Hong Kong office unless our support team tells you to do so.
If you withdraw from a contract for goods, you must return them without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us. Unless we offered free returns or the goods were faulty or non-conforming, you may be responsible for the direct return cost if that cost was disclosed before purchase. You may handle goods only as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning; you may be responsible for reduced value caused by handling beyond that level.
We will make the required reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you tell us that you are withdrawing. For goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive them or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever occurs first. The reimbursement includes the standard outbound delivery cost but not any additional amount you chose to pay for an enhanced delivery method. We will ordinarily use the original payment method and will not charge a reimbursement fee.
9.3 Early Performance and Digital Content
If you ask us to begin a paid service during the withdrawal period and later withdraw, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied before withdrawal, but only where applicable law allows and the required request and disclosures were provided.
For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, you may lose the withdrawal right once supply begins only if you gave the express prior consent and acknowledgement required by applicable law and we provided the required confirmation. If those conditions were not met, your statutory right remains.
9.4 Faulty or Non-Conforming Products and Services
If a Product, digital feature or service is faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to the contract, contact shop@fuzozo.net with your order details and a description of the issue. Depending on applicable law, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, repeat performance, a price reduction, rejection, termination or refund. Normal return-window limits do not replace these rights.
10. Warranty, Updates and Support
10.1 Statutory Rights and Commercial Warranty
Mandatory legal guarantees and remedies apply regardless of any separate commercial warranty. If we offer a voluntary limited warranty, its duration, coverage, exclusions and claim process are stated in our Warranty Policy [INSERT WARRANTY POLICY URL] or the documentation included with the Product. A commercial warranty is additional to, and does not replace, statutory consumer rights.
10.2 Software and Security Updates
We may provide software, firmware, model, content, safety and security updates. Some updates may install automatically where your settings and applicable law permit. You should install required updates within a reasonable time after notice. Failure to install an update may affect functionality or security and, where applicable law permits, may affect remedies for a problem caused solely by the missing update.
We will provide updates needed to keep Products with digital elements and paid digital Services in conformity for the period promised at purchase or required by applicable law.
10.3 Changes to Connected Features
We may modify a connected feature for a valid reason, such as security, safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention, technical interoperability, accessibility, third-party dependency changes or genuine product improvement. We will not charge an additional fee for a change to a feature already included in a current paid term unless you agree.
If a change materially and negatively affects your access to a paid digital service, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable and provide any right to terminate, receive a proportionate refund or use an unchanged version that applicable law requires. Nothing in this section permits us to change the essential characteristics of a Product or paid service contrary to the promises made when you bought it.
10.4 Support Period and Discontinuation
Connected features depend on software, networks and cloud services. Any minimum support period will be disclosed on the relevant product page or in the Warranty Policy. If we discontinue a paid connected service before the end of the period you purchased, we will provide a proportionate refund or another remedy required by law, unless discontinuation is caused by your breach or a circumstance for which the law does not require that remedy.
11. Our Intellectual Property and Your Licence
The Services, including Fuzozo characters, names, logos, designs, software, models, interfaces, text, graphics, audio, animation and other content, are owned by or licensed to Fuzozo and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
While you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app, device software, AI features and digital content solely with a compatible Product for personal, non-commercial purposes. The licence does not transfer ownership.
Except where applicable law permits despite this restriction, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, publicly perform or display, reverse engineer, decompile, extract models or data from, or create derivative works from the Services. You may not remove rights notices or use Fuzozo branding without written permission. Open-source components are governed by their applicable licences.
12. Acceptable Use
You must not use the Services to:
- Break the law, violate sanctions or export controls, or infringe another person’s rights;
- Harm, exploit, harass, threaten, defame, deceive or impersonate another person;
- Create or distribute child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate material, malware or instructions intended to cause unlawful physical or digital harm;
- Collect another person’s personal data without authority;
- Interfere with the Services, another user or a network; introduce malicious code; overload systems; or bypass access, age, safety, payment or security controls;
- Scrape, crawl or use automated systems to access the Services except through an interface or permission we expressly provide;
- Probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without our prior written authorisation;
- Use the Services or AI Output to develop or train a competing model or service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law; or
- Resell, commercially exploit or make the Services available to others without our permission.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may interoperate with services provided by app stores, payment processors, cloud providers, communications providers, login providers or other third parties. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control, but this does not limit our responsibility for subcontractors or integrations where applicable law makes us responsible.
Links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily mean that we endorse the linked content. Review the applicable third-party terms before using a third-party service.
14. Relationship with Shopify
Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to operate the Store. Purchases from the Store are made directly from ROBOPOET TECHNOLOGY HONGKONG LIMITED, operating as fuzozo global, not Shopify. By using the Store, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of a sale between you and fuzozo global, including injury, damage or loss resulting from a Product or service sold by us. To the extent permitted by law, you release Shopify and its affiliates from claims arising from or related to purchases and transactions with fuzozo global. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable right or claim you may have against Shopify under applicable law.
15. Privacy, Microphones, Sensors and Communications
Our Privacy Policy [INSERT PRIVACY POLICY URL] explains what personal data we collect, how and why we use it, the parties with whom it is shared, international transfers, retention, security, choices and privacy rights. Depending on the Product and features you activate, data may include account and purchase information, device identifiers, diagnostic and usage data, voice or text interactions, images, sensor events, customisations and information inferred to personalise the experience.
Fuzozo is not intended to record, photograph or monitor continuously unless a Product page and in-product indicator clearly describe a specific feature that does so. Where a microphone, camera, listening mode or other sensor is active, use the Product’s indicator and controls as explained in the manual and app. Do not disable or obscure a privacy or recording indicator.
You may receive service communications needed to manage purchases, security, safety, recalls, accounts and plan changes. Marketing communications are optional where required by law, and you may unsubscribe using the method in the message.
16. Reviews and Feedback
If you voluntarily submit an idea, suggestion or other feedback about the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it without restriction or compensation. This does not include ownership of your personal data, voice recordings, private conversations or other User Content submitted for ordinary use of the Services.
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and must not be fake, misleading or submitted by a person who has not used the relevant Product or service. If you received a free Product, discount, payment or another incentive, or have an employment, family or business relationship with us, you must clearly disclose that connection. We will not require a positive sentiment as a condition of an incentive. We may moderate reviews for relevance, abuse, personal data or legal violations, but will not suppress a review merely because it is negative.
17. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete your account using available in-app controls or by contacting support. Deleting an account may permanently remove memories, progress and digital entitlements associated with it. Any refund is governed by these Terms, the applicable purchase terms and mandatory law.
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that you materially or repeatedly breached these Terms, created a safety or security risk, failed to pay, used the Services unlawfully, or where we must do so to comply with law. Where appropriate, we will give notice, explain the reason and provide a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue or appeal. We may act immediately where delay could cause harm, enable fraud or abuse, compromise security, or violate law.
If we terminate a paid Service for reasons not caused by your breach, we will provide access for the remaining paid period, a proportionate refund or another remedy required by law.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual property, accrued payment obligations, liability, disputes and miscellaneous terms—will survive.
18. Service Availability and Events Outside Reasonable Control
We aim to provide reliable Services but do not promise that connected features will always be uninterrupted. Maintenance, updates, internet conditions, third-party outages and events outside reasonable control may affect availability. We will use reasonable care to restore affected Services and will provide remedies required by law where an interruption means that we have not performed our obligations.
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control, except that this does not excuse payment already due, affect your statutory cancellation or refund rights, or remove an obligation to take reasonable steps to reduce the effects of the event.
19. Warranties and Disclaimers
We provide the Products and Services with the warranties and standards required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes an implied warranty, guarantee, condition or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law and subject to the express promises made at purchase, we do not guarantee that every AI Output will be accurate or suitable, that every feature will be available in every country or language, or that the Services will be completely uninterrupted or error-free. Any optional beta or preview feature is identified as such and may be less reliable than a generally available feature.
20. Liability
20.1 Liability We Do Not Exclude
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, defective products where strict product liability applies, or breach of mandatory consumer rights.
20.2 Consumer Losses
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious that it would happen or if both you and we knew it might happen when the contract was made. We are not responsible for loss caused by your failure to follow clear safety instructions, install a required update after reasonable notice, protect account credentials, maintain compatible equipment or use the Services lawfully, to the extent your action caused the loss.
The Services are intended for personal and household use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable to a consumer for business losses, including lost profit, revenue, opportunity or business interruption, arising from use for a commercial purpose.
20.3 No Double Recovery
You may recover only once for the same loss. This section does not affect any remedy that applicable law gives you against another party.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
Please contact shop@fuzozo.net first so that we can try to resolve a concern promptly. This does not prevent you from using any court, regulator, alternative dispute resolution body or other remedy available under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. However, if you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of the country or state where you habitually live. Courts in Hong Kong will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, but you may bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence where applicable consumer law permits, and we may bring a claim against you only in a court permitted by applicable consumer law.
We will provide information about, and participate in, an alternative dispute resolution procedure where applicable law requires us to do so.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms for a valid reason, including to reflect a new feature, a change in law, improved safety or security, or a change in how the Services operate. The current version will be posted with its effective date.
For a material change affecting an existing account or paid Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice in a durable form, such as email or an in-app message, where required by law. A change will not apply retroactively to a dispute that arose before it took effect. If applicable law gives you the right to reject a material change by terminating a paid Service, we will explain that right and any available refund in the notice.
23. Miscellaneous
If a court or authority finds part of these Terms unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent or removed, and the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, but you may transfer statutory rights or claims where the law allows. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganisation, financing or sale of the relevant business, provided this does not reduce your rights; we will notify you where required.
These Terms, the policies linked in them, and any specific purchase or plan terms presented to you form the agreement between you and us about the Services. They do not create rights for another person except where these Terms expressly say so or applicable law provides otherwise.
